4 8 15 16 23 42 Create Your Own Pattern

Many very smart people and mathematicians are looking for the answer to this riddle and sequence of numbers, which appeared on the ABC Lost Series Reality Television Show. If you search around the Internet you will find a lot of rather interesting ideas on what this number actually is or means? Some believe it is a pattern, which can be figured out with a sequence.

Yet as people try they are usually met with disbelief and on Internet Forums with condemnation such as; You are just full of it stop the bull or You just took those numbers from the ABC Lost series you can't define an actual pattern for those numbers because all you do is write bull

Indeed, I think this detractor is generally correct and indeed that is that is where the 4 8 15 16 23 42 came from. I do not watch reality TV, but this was simply emailed to me by a friend, after working with the number for a few house, as far as a sequence:

Here it is; 4 8 15 16 23 42, 32, 39, 65, 139, 64, 71, 104, 204, 443, 128, 135, 175

Think of a set of waves sine and cosine, with an variance in modulation. You do not need a calculator to do it if you put them into a pattern, you can even find the pattern using a linear sheet of paper. I do not believe to have FOUND the pattern, but rather I simply created one. I think too often people misjudge and do not think out of the box. After considering the possible mathematics of it, I just decided to flip it over and create my own pattern. Perhaps you can do the same. Consider this in 2006.
