Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump was probably the most watched film in the 90s. It is one that people all over the world watch over and over again, just relishing in the truth and honesty of the Movie. It is also a Movie that you dont soon forget after watching. If you have not seen Forrest Gump, you are doing yourself a disservice and need to get the DVD right away.

Cast

Tom Hanks did it once again with the leading role of Forrest Gump. Hanks is a brilliant Actor who can transform himself into any role handed to him. It is amazing how he takes on these incredibly complicated characters and makes magic. It is not because he is the most handsome Actor in the world, it is because he is one of the most talented Actors in the world. The supporting Actors and Actresses in the film were just as amazing and did not let Hanks outshine them too much. Robin Wright Penn played Jenny, his love interest. Sally Field played his mother, Gary Sinise was Lt. Dan, and Mykelti Williams was B ubba.

Script

The story of Forrest Gump is one that immediately draws you in. You have this non-intelligent man who is experiencing so many world events and showing his honest accounts of them. He forms relationships with people along the way and never forgets about where he comes from, or his mother. He falls in love with a girl named Jenny and never looks back. All in all, the script will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you thrilled to be alive.
